Urban Decay Through The Looking Glass Palette Swatches, Review, and Video with Giveaway!

May 18, 2016 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

If you know me then you already know this, but I adore with all things Disney! And if you’re a regular reader of my blog, then you know that I’m also a huge makeup lover! So, needless to say, when the Urban Decay Through The Looking Glass collection (which is inspired by the new Alice in Wonderland movie) came out, I snagged it the day it launched on Ulta.com! I uploaded my video on this on my YouTube channel, but felt that this beautiful collection earned itself a blog post as well so that I could show off just how gorgeous the details are.

Through The Looking Glass Palette:

LIPSTICK & EYE SHADOW TIPS & PICKS FOR BEGINNERS

May 11, 2016 & 2 Comments

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

This week I have had two friends ask me on my personal Facebook page beauty related questions that I get asked on a fairly regular basis. First of all, I want to say THANK YOU FOR ASKING! There is not much more flattering to me than people asking me questions about makeup because it is a huge passion of mine. And second, today I have decided to share the information that I was gathering for them with all of you incase any of you have similar questions. If you find this post helpful, please share it or “pin” it to your Pinterest!

Housekeeping Note and Helpful Tip!

I have had two other friends recently tell me that they aren’t subscribed to KwapisFamilyTackles on YouTube or LeahTackles on YouTube because they don’t have a YouTube account but you actually DO NOT NEED A YOUTUBE ACCOUNT TO SUBSCRIBE, COMMENT, OR LIKE A VIDEO! Your log-in is actually your Gmail log-in because Google owns YouTube! I hope that is helpful information! I appreciate every person who reads or watches my content, whether or not you’re subscribed, but if you want to get notified whenever I upload something new please subscribe! And I love subscribers ; )  I am doing a HUGE GIVEAWAY at 1,000 subscribers so be sure to subscribe for that too!

What are good lipsticks for someone who has never worn lipstick but would like to try? Something that isn’t “clown like”?

I was a lip gloss girl for years and the only time I had ever worn lipstick was for dance performances, but now I wear lipstick almost every single day. I think that the best way to start would be to try a couple of shades that I consider to be “your lips but better” which means they aren’t very different from your natural lip color. You can also try a tinted lip balm that gives a sheer wash of color. I would suggest grabbing a few lipsticks at the drugstore so that you can figure out what colors you like before you commit to something more expensive. Or, go to Sephora, Ulta, or the makeup counter at a department store and ask for help so that you can wear the lipsticks! Don’t be afraid to ask for help!! You can walk into a department store, try on a lipstick, and then do you shopping so you can wear it for awhile to see how you feel in it.

Lip Products I Suggest Trying:

 IMG_3256 (1)

lipstickforbeginners-leahtackles.jpeg

Here are some of my favorite lip products that I think are great “starter” lipsticks!

*Note: listed left to right

Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien

M.A.C Cremesheen in Creme Cup

M.A.C Lustre in Syrup

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate in 08

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 130 Rose Velvet

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 001 Honey (my top pick!)

Covergirl Oh Sugar! in 6 Punch

Covergirl Oh Sugar! in 9 Jelly

What eye shadows should I buy? I have no idea where to begin? What about eye shadow brushes?

I suggest started with a neutral eye shadow palette or even a small trio or quad to start out. There are a lot of fantastic drugstore eye shadow options, which I will link, but also don’t be afraid to go play with the makeup at Sephora, Ulta, or a department store! You can also get a cream eye shadow or eye shadow base like the Maybelline Color Tattoos I will link below. I often apply these with my fingers all over my lid and then just apply mascara and eye liner! They’re easy and beautiful! They also make a fantastic base to put on before applying your other eye shadows. As far as brushes go, you can start simple by grabbing two or three brushes for $1-$3 each from E.l.f cosmetics. The backs of a lot of drugstore palettes like the ones mentioned show a general “map” for how to apply the eye shadows which is a great place to start! The higher end palettes usually come with a small beauty how-to guide that gives tips for easy looks.

eyeshadowpicksforbeginners-leahtackles.jpeg

eyeshadowpicksforbeginners-leahtackles.jpeg

Maybelline The Nudes Palette

Wet n’ Wild Walking On Eggshells Trio

Wet n’ Wild Comfort Zone palette

Too Faced Natural Eyes palette

Urban Decay Naked palette

Maybelline Color Tattoo

(I suggest Bad To The Bronze and Inked In Pink)

E.l.f Shadow Brushes

(Start with a basic flat eye shadow brush, a fluffy brush for your crease and for blending, and a smaller flat brush for smudging color on your lower lash line or putting a bright shimmery color near the tear ducts of your eye to brighten)

I hope that you found this helpful! I am doing a Q&A soon on my LeahTackles channel so be sure to ask your questions for that!! I hope you have a wonderful weekend : ) Thanks for reading!

Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette Review! Do you need it?

May 9, 2016 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Monday!

I hope that all of you had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! I got lots of extra special hugs and love from my little loves and my husband : ) My kids somehow managed to buy me a little something from Ulta (thanks Stephan!) and I am so excited to share it with you today! At the end of February Too Faced Cosmetics released the Peanut Butter and Jelly palette and even though I wanted it I wondered if it was really something I *needed*. Do you *need* the Peanut Butter and Jelly palette? Keep reading and you can decide.

The Packaging:

This palette comes in the cute tin packaging that the nine shadow palettes from Too Faced typically come in. The packaging is OH SO ADORABLE! I can’t even handle the cuteness! I mean, the piece of bread on the tin has lashes and jelly colored lips…hello cuteness overload! I also think these tins are perfect for traveling and putting into your makeup bag.

The Basics:

This palette has three shadows that are 2.0 grams each and six shadows that are 0.9 grams each. There are three matte shades and six shimmer shades, though one of the shimmer shades is almost matte but has just the tinniest bit of shimmer. And this product does not contain actual nuts but does have the ever so faint peanut butter scent mixed with the yummy cocoa powder scent we know and love from other Too Faced products.

The Shadows:

The shadows swatch beautifully! They are all super pigmented and a little shadow goes a long way! I have only used this twice so far, but both times I was tapping off my brush because the pigmentation was so great that I didn’t need much product at all. This palette was inspired by the shadow Peanut Butter that gained a cult following from the Too Faced Semi Sweet palette. I love putting Peanut Butter or Nuts About U in the crease and smudging Jelly on my lower lash line.

Do You Need It?

You might have dupes for these if you own a lot of eye shadow palettes, but I really love having smaller palette like this filled with gorgeous warm toned shadows that I know will get me lots of fun looks. I think this is a great too because you can do a lot of quick looks with this and the How-To Glamour Guide it comes with is helpful too. If you don’t like warm toned eye shadows, definitely pass because this eye shadow palette is very warm toned! Think peanut butter, jelly, and nutty red colors!

Buy It:

You can buy the Peanut Butter and Jelly palette at Ulta Beauty or on TooFaced.com

APRIL BEAUTY FAVORITES!

May 4, 2016 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

I haven’t shared beauty favorites in awhile, but I found myself reaching for these things a lot last month and am so excited to share them with you! If you have any questions, ask in the comments and I will definitely get back to you!!

April Favorites:

aprilbeautyfavorites-leahtackles.jpeg

Hair Care:

OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum:

This can be used on damp towel dried hair and to add strength and hydration to your hair. I do use this in the ends of my hair before brushing it out after showering, but my favorite way to use it is on the ends of my dry hair to to hide any dry looking ends and add shine to my hair! I especially love to add this to my ends after I curl my hair.

TRESemmé Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo:

This is my go-to dry shampoo because it’s affordable and works well! I like to use this on nights when I don’t wash my hair and apply it liberally to my roots and then work it in with my fingers. If needed when I wake up I use a little more, but usually using it the night before works well for me.

Batise Dry Shampoo in Light & Blonde:

I don’t usually splurge on dry shampoo, but I have to say I really did enjoy this one! Now I do understand what the Batiste hype is about! This one had a blonde tint that I did like for a bit of help concealing roots, too.

Makeup:

Beauty Blender Cleanser Solid:

This looks like a little round bar of soap when you open it up, but I swear it is magic!! You can use a gentle anti-bacterial soap or shampoo to wash your brushes, but this rinses clean so fast that I save so much time when I use it! I also like that it comes with a tiny little cleaning mat to scrub your brushes on. *Tip: You can buy brush cleaning mats, but you can also use a rubber textured cutting board which is usually much cheaper : )

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in 101 Classic Ivory:

This has taken the place of Revlon ColorStay for my favorite drugstore foundation! Even though this is drugstore, it’s fairly expensive at about $13, but I really think it’s worth it! I like that it comes in a tube, it’s sanitary and easy to get every last drop out. I was a bit hesitate because it says it is a demi-matte finish, but it lasts all day on my oily/combo skin. I do use oil blotting sheets on my nose, but I have to do that midday with any foundation. I am hooked! I like apply this with a stippling brush like the Sigma F50. You can see my favorite ways to apply liquid foundation here.

Esteé Lauder Double Wear Waterproof All Day Extreme Wear Concealer in 1C Light:

I am obsessed with this! I use this on any discoloration and a little goes a long way! It blends out well with a makeup sponge or with my fingers. I also use this on my under eye area and I’ve been very impressed because it doesn’t settle in my fine lines.

Too Faced Sweethearts Baked Luminous Glow Bronzer in Sweat Tea:

Okay, first of all, THE PACKAGING!! It is everything! I love the mint with the brown! Too Faced always knocks it out of the park when it comes to packaging. I love this cool toned bronzer because you can use the colors on their own or mixed together and it’s the perfect bronzer for those like me who try to avoid ones that are too orange or warm toned. It does have shimmer, but it’s subtle and not chunks of glitter.

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Sparkling Bellini:

This is my first blush from this line, but I already want more. I love that it has a bit of shimmer so you can skip a highlight but the shimmer isn’t overpowering. I like to wear the three colors swirled together, but the strips of color are wide enough that you could focus on just one or two of the colors if you wanted to. I think this is perfect for glowy summery cheeks!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette:

I couldn’t not include this! Clearly, this was a big month for Too Faced and I ; ) But this is incredible! I hate to mention it because it has been near impossible to get your hands on this palette, but I had to give it a mention because I’ve been loving it! I like that it has some very nice peachy shades (duh!) but also has neutrals, purples, and even a green so that you’re not limited as much in the looks you can create. It smells like peaches, quite strongly, when you apply it but the scent doesn’t last. If you can find it, I say grab it! Plus, THE PACKAGING!

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Alchemy 6D01:

I recently hauled my first ever purchase from ColourPop and this is one of the shadows I picked up. I love this for days when I’m rushing but want to throw something beautiful on my lids! I love applying this with my fingers all over the lid.

Hard Candy Brow Ink in Light Medium:

I can really feel the hold of this and the tip is so tiny that I can use it to lightly dot any spots on my brows that seems sparse. I like starting in the middle of my brow and working my way out before lightly apply a bit to the start of my brow.  *Note: You can find Hard Candy exclusively at Walmart.

NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Push Up:

I got this in my Swap Box with Stephanie Alexandra and I love it! I want to grab a few more colors from this line because it’s an affordable liquid lipstick that wears very well on me. It is drying, but not so much so that I can’t wear it. I do notice that it breaks down with things like salad dressing (nothing breaks down a lip product faster than something with oil!) but otherwise this lasts through meals for me.

Be sure to tell me what items you have been loving in the comments! I loved doing this post and if you enjoyed it I will definitely try to keep the monthly favorites monthly ; ) Have a wonderful weekend! Please don’t forget to subscribe!!

COLOURPOP COSMETICS HAUL & HOW TO APPLY!

April 25, 2016 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Monday!

If you’ve been following my Instagram you know that I’ve been doing some fun new makeup hauls lately and today I want to share one of my new favorite and affordable brands!

About ColourPop Cosmetics:

ColourPop Cosmetics are a Los Angeles based makeup company that is available exclusively on their website. ColourPop also does not test on our animal friends! Yay! ColourPop is famous for their Super Shock Shadows which is a creme-powder formula that is nothing like anything I’ve tried before! Do you have a M.A.C Paint Pot or a Maybelline Color Tattoo? It isn’t like that. Do you have any regular powder eye shadows? It isn’t like that, either! The SuperShock shadows come in so many stunning finishes including matte, metallic, pearlized, glitter, and satin! They also have very popular lip products and face products.

How To Apply Super Shock Eye Shadows:

To get the best application you should apply these eye shadows with your finger! I like to sweep a shadow for a little something-something into my crease with a brush, and then press a bit of one of my ColourPop Super Shock Shadows onto my lip for gorgeous shimmer! You can use a blending brush if you need to blend out any harsh lines after applying shadows with your fingers. If you don’t want to use your fingers, you can use a synthetic makeup brush. I suggest using a synthetic brush that is densely packed because that will imitate your finger better than a fluffy brush.

What I Bought:

*Note: Colors listed follow pictures from left to right : )

IMG_2526 colourpop-supershockshadows-leahtackles.jpeg

Super Shock Shadow in Nillionaire

This is a STUNNING warm bronze metallic I’ve been loving it in my crease!

Super Shock Shadow in Alchemy

This is a gorgeous glitter sheer that I’ve been packing on my lid almost daily since I bought it! I love that it’s a peachy shade with tons of shimmery glittery goodness! I have put a little bit of a brown red color, like Flutes which I talk about later in this post, in my crease blended out and then packed this onto my lids and people keep asking me what it is! It’s the easiest look ever, and it’s stunning!

Super Shock Shadow in Vanity Fair

This is a cool toned shadow is a beautiful taupe silver with a pearlized finish! I love this color and I don’t have anything else like it.

Super Shock Shadow in Flutes

This matte shadow is the perfect muddy red brown that for some reason reminds me of mustard and looks incredible on anyone’s crease! This shadow is from the Spring 2016 collection and I have already been using it a lot.

colourpop-lippiestix-lippiepencil-leahtackles.jpeg

Lippie Pencil in Lyin’ King

This is a gorgeous raspberry pink that goes well with so many lipticks! I do have to say the cap has to be pressed on pretty hard, to the point where I feel like I’m going to smash the pencil, but so far I haven’t ; )

Lippie Stix in Crumpet

This is a cream lip stick in a bright pink! This is perfect for spring and if you’re scared of a true coral lip color, I think this is a great way to go to get you a hint of coral without quite so much warm orange.

Do you own any ColourPop Products? Let me know in the comments! I can’t wait to add to my collection!

BEAUTY & LIFESTYLE SWAP BOX: WHAT IS IT? HAPPY MAIL IDEAS & VIDEOS!

April 13, 2016 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

First of all, thank you for being here! Be sure that you enter my Mom Life Perception vs. Mom Life Reality Visa Gift Card Giveaway  from my post on Monday! I have been SO excited to be sharing this post today! Second, get ready because this is such a fun topic!

WHAT IS A SWAP BOX?:

A swap box is where you and someone else go shopping for each other and fill up a box with goodies! You can pick a price limit, a theme, and a date to have the exchange mailed or given in person. My friend, Stephanie, who is also fellow YouTuber and blogger, decided a few months ago that it would be fun to do a swap box together and film ourselves opening the box to share our true first impressions! We picked a “beauty & lifestyle” theme because we both LOVE makeup, skincare, stationary, and girly goodies! We set our price limit to be $30 not counting shipping costs. We didn’t have a set date but just kept in touch about how we were doing as far as getting our boxes together.

ME OPENING MY BOX FROM STEPHANIE:

STEPHANIE OPENING HER BOX FROM ME:

WHY I LOVE THESE BOXES:

I think most people love snail mail, I even did a Happy Mail, post a couple months ago because I think it’s such a fun way to make someone else feel special.  I love this because it’s sort of like doing a personal subscription box put together by someone who knows you! You can find groups on Facebook or other social media for snail mail or pen pals, but I haven’t ventured to that. I absolutely LOVE this and can’t wait to continue doing these with my friends.

WHERE TO FIND STEPHANIE:

STEPHANIE’S BLOG

STEPHANIE’S YOUTUBE

Have you ever put together a box like this? If you love doing Easter Baskets or Christmas Stockings, then you’ll love this! Boxes of pretty little goodies are THE BEST!! : D We still have snow on the ground here, but it should be gone by this weekend as warmer weather rolls in!! Have a wonderful weekend! If you’re on Snap Chat, follow me: LeahTackles : )

Be Me Nail Art Pens Review!

March 30, 2016 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

I recently did a review on 2B Colours cosmetics and shared a tease about a nail art pen review coming soon and today is the day I share them with you! I was sent these Be Me Nail 2-in-1 Brush and Art Pens for review, and I was pretty apprehensive because I am not into nail art. <–Blunt right? I think it is adorable, but besides doing an accent nail every once in a great while, I usually stick to a basic manicure. Why do I not usually do nail art? Basically because it intimidates me since I am creative but NOT an artist at all, and also I feel like I barely have time to paint my nails as is. So, I decided to review these but keep it real with my bad nail art and all. Thank you to Be Me for sending me these for review! As always with my reviews, all opinions are my own honest opinions: ) If you want to keep seeing more reviews and giveaways from me, please like my social media and subscribe here and to my YouTube channels! The more subscribers, “likes”, and followers I have the more companies want to work with me which benefits you as well! And, I get giddy anytime I get a new like! My Instagram is updated daily, as well as most of my social media.

What I was Sent:

bemenailartpens-beautyreview-leahtackles.jpeg

I was sent this Nail Art Pens Festive Collection. I believe this was a holiday collection, but the colors are beautiful so I didn’t mind at all!

First Impressions:

I really like that each color can be used as a nail art pen or as traditional brush and bottle nail polish.

My Nail Art:

bemenailartpensreview-leahtackles-beautyreview.jpeg IMG_1388

Pros:

When used as a pen these have a SUPER fine point and it was pretty easy for me to get very exact lines. I think with a little practice I could really have some fun with these for holidays or special occasions. I love plastic bottle because you can squeeze it while drawing with the pen to get the polish to flow the way you need it to.

Cons:

Each pen comes with a color on each end, and while you can take them apart I realized quickly that I couldn’t get the cap off (without smudging my nails anyways!) unless the colors were connected. I also found that it took quite a while for this to dry, so the design was easy to make but the time spent drying was longer than when I just throw on a few coats of polish.

Overall:

I am excited to use these for holidays! I found myself looking up some YouTube videos and I’m excited thinking about doing things for the 4th of July already and it isn’t even April yet! I think these are very user friendly, and a lot of fun. My daughter, Hailey, is really excited about these, too! She thought my nails looked MUCH COOLER with some nail art ; )

Where To Buy:

I appreciate that these are easy for anyone to grab online! They are available at Walmart.com, Kmart.com, Target.com, and my favorite Amazon.com.

You can follow Be Me Nail on Twitter for much better inspiration and nail art that I created ; ) I also love following the Be Me Nail Art Instagram feed.

If you have any questions let me know! I need to challenge myself to try some cool nail art in the future. If you’d like to see any nail art or tutorials I *might* panic a little, but I would certainly be willing to try for my readers : ) Have a great weekend! Please don’t forget to subscribe! xx

AFFORDABLE MAKEUP BRAND REVIEW! 2B COLOURS

March 21, 2016 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Monday!

I am super excited to be bringing you a fun, affordable, and cruelty free makeup brand. I hadn’t heard of 2B Colours until my friend, Ciera, talked about them on her YouTube channel and blog. Shortly after hearing about them 2B reached out to me and offered to send me a few items for consideration and review. I have had the makeup items for a couple of weeks and feel that now I have had the chance to use all of the products and test them out to provide good and honest reviews. I also was sent a set of Nail Art Pens, so stay tuned for a review on that soon! And wish me luck ; )

2B Cosmetics Makeup Reviews

2Bcolours-makeupreview-leahtackles.jpeg

2Bcolourscosmetics-review-leahtackles.jpeg

Concealer Corrector Waterproof in 01 Peach

I wasn’t really sure what I would think of this when I saw the pen form, but I really have been enjoying it. The peach color works great for covering under eye circles, but I am careful when applying it so I’m not dragging it on my delicate eye area skin. I also LOVE this for targeting small imperfections or blemishes! I do find that it can be tricky to blend, but I just use my finger or a damp beauty sponge like the Beauty Blender. I would purchase this.

Cheek Pop Blush Powder in 04 Kissed By a Rose

This is my absolute favorite item that 2B sent me!! I want to try all of these blushes! This is SUPER pigmented! I was shocked and had to quickly blend it out because I was too heavy handed the first time I used it. This is gorgeous and it is very long wearing.

My Favorite Eye Color Eye Catcher in 01 White

I love the idea of having a white eye shadow on hand to use before applying other eye shadows so that the other shadows are exactly true to color, but I am not crazy about the texture of this shadow. I do think it works well for making other colors pop, and a small dab of it on the center of each eye lid makes the eyes pop as well, but this is my least favorite product in the bunch. I will keep you posted incase anything changes, but I wouldn’t purchase this.

Mascara in Mega Prune

I remember when I was in middle school and colored mascara was super popular! I think blue was the favorite color that year ; ) I normally wear only black mascara, but this was a really fun change! I will keep wearing this, and the prune is just ever so slightly different than a brown or black mascara, and is perfect if you just want a tiny bit of color.

Eye Liner Long Wear Waterproof in 01 Black

I tested this out in my waterline and it wore SUPER well on me! I was shocked because so many eye liners disappear on me almost instantly. I don’t know if it is waterproof, but it definitely wore well on the waterline. I have not tried it on the upper lash line yet. I would purchase this.

Pop Up Lips in 01 My Own Ice Cream Bar

I love this! The lip crayon is super creamy, and it’s just a hit of color but a very pretty pink. This isn’t long wearing, but it’s a super low maintenance lip that is easy to reapply even with no mirror. I definitely would purchase and I’ll keep this in my purse.

Hydrastick in 07 Rose

This feels very nice on the lips. This works perfectly for a natural makeup day when you just want a little moisture or for putting on under a lipstick. I like that it has jojoba oil and UVA/UVB filter. I also like that it is shaped like a lipstick instead of flat on the top like most lip balm products.

Mega Colours Nail Polish in 022 Rich Lavender

When I first started applying this I was worried because the first coat was very sheer, but the second coat was pretty and I could have stopped there but I went for a third coat and it was so pigmented! I couldn’t believe the difference. I also applied this without a base coat or a top coat and it wore for a few days without chipping. I was very happy with this, and my four year old, Hailey, wants to wear this color on her nails next.

Social Media:

You can check out 2B on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter!

If you have any questions please feel free to ask in the comments! I think 2B Colours has some gems that shouldn’t be overlooked, and I am happy that I now know about them. Have a wonderful week! Don’t forget to subscribe!! xx

MAKING A HOTEL STAY EASY (EVEN WITH YOUNG KIDS) | 5 THINGS TO PACK! + PICTURES OF OUR ADVENTURES!

March 16, 2016 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

We have traveled about once a month with kids for years, but with the exception of our trip to Walt Disney World and a few longer weekends away, we usually only were gone for one night. Now that I have been away from home every week for the past 6 weeks, I feel like I have some really good tips for making hotel life easier. If you’re wondering why I have been away from home, you can check out our daily vlogs : )

1. PACK OUTFITS NOT CLOTHES

It saves me so much time to have my clothes and my kids clothes packed by outfit (shirt, pants, undies, socks) and I know what I have packed matches and isn’t excessive. I of course pack extras, but I pack an outfit for each day plus 1-2 extras because in most situations you could run to a store or do laundry if you ever needed more clothing than packed.

2. PACK A SOUND MACHINE

I absolutely LOVE our Dex Baby Sound Machine and we always pack it for even the shortest trips. Actually, we love it so much we own two of them. This helps to make the sleep environment as much like home as possible. It also helps if noises are different than home or the walls are thin.

3. BUY A SMALL PLASTIC DRYING RACK

I had never thought to purchase a small plastic dish drying rack until we started this long term stay, but it is so curtail! I found a small rack at Target for about $5 and it makes it easy to wash out sip cups, bottles, travel coffee mugs, and whatever else you might need to rinse out without overcrowding the sink area. Is it ideal? No, but it gets the job done.

4. GET HAMPERS FROM THE DOLLAR TREE

In my Walt Disney World Dollar Tree/Hobby Lobby Haul video I shared that I bought pop-up hampers to sort laundry when traveling. I will NEVER go on a trip again without doing this! I bought a couple pop-up hampers and a mesh laundry bag this time and it is so nice to not have to try to separate your dirty and clean clothing in the suitcase.

5. BUY A HANGING TOILETRY HOLDER

I have had one of these since my college spring break days, and it is the best! It holds all of my toiletry items (not counting my makeup, because let’s not get carried away!), and the toiletry items for the rest of my family perfectly. It is so nice to not have the bathroom counter cluttered with products, and you can see the items while it’s hanging so it makes things simple. I don’t like living out of a suitcase, I prefer to unpack somewhat, so having the toiletries like this helps a lot.

A DIFFERENT LIPSTICK FOR EVERY DAY OF THE MONTH {FEBRUARY}

March 9, 2016 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

This week just seems like the week of lip product related posts from me, doesn’t it?! On Monday I shared Chapstick Product Reviews & Giveaway with you and that sets us up perfectly for today’s post topic: Lipstick! I own too many lots of lipsticks, so I thought it would be fun to wear a different one every single day for a month. So often I get a new one that becomes a favorite, or a get suck in a lip color rut and wear the same one for days or even weeks at a time, so I thought it would be a good way for me to rediscover some of my old products. Today I am sharing the lipsticks with you : )
