Products I’ve Up?! February Empties!

February 18, 2015 & 1 Comment

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

I have been saving all of my empty beauty and tolietries in a basket in my closet again so that I could share an empties post with you! I will have another empties post coming soon where I share a ton of makeup and haircare empties…so stay tuned for that! I love reading these types of post and watching these types of videos because 1) It’s helpful to hear if people would repurchase or not and a quick mini review, and 2) Let’s be honest, isn’t everyone just a *tiny* bit nosy?! I know I absolutely am ; ) It’s fun to see!

February Empties:

februaryempties-productsiveusedup-leahtackles.jpeg

Dove Clinical Protection Deoderant in Clear Tone:

I purchase this over and over! I love the peace of mind of the clinical strength in the warmer months, and while I probably don’t *need* it in the winter, I still really like it.

Soft Soap Orchid Petals & Mint Water Liquid Hand Soap:

This is a new line of liquid hand soaps from Soft Soap and I bought it solely because of the more attractive bottle! Yes, I know that you can buy refillable bottles which I’ve done in the past, but I also like these. Nothing magical, but served its purpose and I would repurchase.

Kleenex Hand Towels:

I use these to dry off my face after cleansing because it is more sanitary than using your towel. If you don’t want to use something like this, you can also use a clean washcloth, but you shouldn’t just use your regular bath towel! These come in packs of 60 which is nice because it lasts about a month if you use one in the morning and one at night.

Q-tips Cotton Swabs:

This is a funny one to include but I am going to because Stephan and I are picky about our cotton swabs! We have purchased other brands where the stick inbetween is flimsy and you just don’t get as good of a clean, so now I just use those for eye makeup fixes! Don’t mess with our Q-tips! ; )

Philosophy Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser:

This is without a doubt my favorite cleanser!! I only need the tiniest dab, and it works perfectly with just my fingers or with my Clairsonic. I will buy this over and over again! You can find large sizes on QVC for a great price.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks:

I liked this for my baby bump, but I prefered a Burt’s Bees Oil that I will talk about next…

Burt’s Bees Mama Oil Nourishing Body Oil:

I love this stuff! Typically an oil wouldn’t sound appealing to me over a lotion, but this rubbed in quickly and I could slather it in all of the stretch mark prone areas FAST which I loved! It also has a really nice small and absorbed fairly quickly.

Olay Quench Body Lotion Ultra Moisture with Shea Butter:

This was just a small travel size that I had in my hospital bag when Logan was born. I didn’t use enough to know if it was something special, but my skin didn’t dry out during our hospital stay, which could be thanks to this lotion.

Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser:

This was also purchased just for the hospital bag, but I LOVED it! I am not sure if it was because I hadn’t used a strong/acne fighting face wash during my pregnancy and that made it feel more fantastic, but I was sad when this little guy ran out! I would definitely purchase again! My skin felt *super* clean after using it, but it didn’t feel uncomfortably tight or dry like some acne face washes can make my face feel.

Mederma for Kids:

This isn’t a “true empty” because this is just the box and we are still using the cream, but I wanted to include it because we love this stuff! As you know I have 3 kids 3 1/2 and under…so bumps & bruises are bound to happen! In September I had my first ER experience as a mom and it was because Connor had cut his forehead open! It was a nasty cut, but this has helped the scar SO MUCH! We have used this faithfully and I can tell such a huge difference. I would absolutely buy this again.

Bath and Body Works Body Lotion in Mad About You:

I like the Bath and Body Works lotions only as much as I’d like any lotion from the drugstore…I just don’t think they’re that fabulous minus the great fragrance. I *do* love the Bath and Body works body butters and body creams. This scent is very spring-y and floral but has a slight vanilla musk that keeps it from being too much. I used this completely and enjoyed it, but it wouldn’t be my first scent choice.

Bath and Body Works Body Lotion in Endless Weekend:

I love this scent!! It is a mix of floral, fruit, coconut….yum! I realy enjoyed using this scent in the dreary winter months! I would purchase this scent again.

Bath and Body Works Body Butter in Beautiful Day:

I absolutely LOVE these body butters! A little bit goes a really long way and they feel awesome on the skin! This has a very fruity and floral combo that makes me think spring and I do like this scent.

What products will you purchase over and over again? Let me know in the commens! Thank you as always for reading and please subscribe if you’re new! I post every Monday and Wednesday, and throw in the occasional “Bonus Post” : )

Rodan + Fields Skincare Review

February 9, 2015 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Monday!

Over the past few weeks I have been testing out some skincare items from the company Rodan + Fields. If the name sounds familiar to you, that’s because it is developed by the same doctors who brought us ProActiv Solution years ago. The Rodan + Fields line was a top seller in department stores like Bloomingdales and Nordstrom, but the creators decided to pull the line when they realized that most of the people purchasing Rodan + Fields were learning about it via word-of-mouth. Now Rodan + Fields products are sold like MaryKay on a direct sales format.

This product was sent to me, but as always I will never accept money in exchange for a positive review! All of the thoughts are my own, and if I am sent a product that I do not like I will either not talk about it at all, or tell you what I thought! I want to be a reliable source for you, and I do my best!

Initial Thoughts On the Company:

There are SOOO MANY direct sale lines out right now…jewelry, tupperware, skincare, makeup, unmentionables…you name it! And sometimes I’ll admit that I roll my eyes when I hear about yet another one, but skincare is something I’m caring about more and more as I get older, and I loved right off the bat the many different options for all skin types and ages that Rodan + Fields offers. I then started reading other peoples reviews and the company history, and decided it was worth another look.

About My Skin:

Firstly it should be stated that pregnancy can absolutely change the way your skin behaves, and after pregnancy the horomone changes can make your skin react crazy as well! I was very lucky to have great (for me) skin during Logan’s pregnancy, and have had a few breakouts since his birth but so far it’s been (knock on wood) manageable. I am in that funky phase where I still get oily on my t-zone, my nose especially, but I’m also battling fine lines and wrinkles now that I’m approaching my late 20’s (I am 27 for another 5 weeks & I’m hanging onto that counting as mid 20’s!)

ENHANCEMENTS MICRO-DERMABRASION PASTE:

rodanandfieldsmicrodermabrasionpaste-leahtackles.jpeg

This is far and away my favorite of the 3 products I tried! I absolutely adore this! A little goes a long way, and I immediately noticed a beautiful glow and improved texture. You can use this without water for a more heavy exfoliation (my prefered way, 3 times/week) or use it with water for a more gentle approach. If you can only try one item from Rodan + Fields, this is far and away the star for me of the 3 I sampled! This did not cause breakouts or inflamation, but with that said my skin handles even professional in-spa micro-dermabrasion treatments without issue.

REDEFINE NIGHT RENEWING SERUM:

rodanandfieldsnightrewnewingserum-leahtackles.jpeg

This made my skin feel like silk immediately after application! I noticed that my makeup applied beautifully the next day as well.  I did find that my skin felt a tad dry after, so I followed the optional direction of using a tad of moisturizer after applying this.  I loved the way it made my skin feel, and I would love to try using it in the future, but because I only had a small sample I am not sure if it would be holy grail status for me or not. But did I enjoy it? Absolutely!

REDEFINE LIP RENEWING SERUM:

rodanandfieldsreview-leahtackles.jpeg

I have talked quite a bite recently about how horribly dry my lips have been! I haven’t worn lipstick, with the exception of Christmas parties, in months! At first I wasn’t sure if I liked this any better than my regular chapsticks, but after using this consistently for several days in a row I noticed that my lips felt very soft and as crazy as it sounds they looked a bit more naturaly red or rosy but without the uncomfortable sting/ tingle that some lip plumping products have. This is pricy, but I do think that is works. I would buy this in the future and think it would be fabulous to use leading up to a big event! And hello, wedding season is fast approaching!

 TO ORDER:

Kristy Ownby made me feel *totally* comfortable discussing my skincare concerns and target areas, and was very informative to all of my questions! If I’m reviewing something for you guys, I make it really clear that I am going to ask alllll sorts of stuff, and she was up to the challenge. In talking with Kristy I have found a few other items that I am super tempted to try! She mentioned that the Pore Minimizing Toner is like spanx for your face…umm hello that sounds RIGHT up my ally! And the Redefine Cleansing Mask which should combat any oil..anyone who gets oily knows that anything that can stop that must be tried!

Best Hand Care Routine EVER?!

February 4, 2015 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! It means so much to me!

We are well into winter now, and with the cold weather, dry air, and excess hand washing and sanitizing because of all the lovely germs floating around everywhere, my hands are DRY! I get dry cracked hands every winter, especially with a newborn because I’m washing my hands about every other minute ; ) I have talked before about the Neutrogena Hand Cream, and that is still a great option, but I was recently introduced to Satin Hands Pampering Set by Mary Kay and I’m in love! They come in different scents, but mine is the fragrance-free version. Below I’ll talk briefly (as I can) about the 3 products that I tried and my thoughts.

marykaysatinhandsreview-leahtackles.jpeg

#1 Satin Hands Hand Softener

marykaysatinhandshandsoftener-leahtackles.jpeg

This step is really luxurious to me, and it only takes a minute so that’s perfect realistic pampering for most of us!

#2 Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub

marykaysatinhandsscrubreview-leahtackles.jpeg

I loooove this hand scrub! After rinsing my hands felt so soft, but the best part was that they remained soft afterwards.

#3 Satin Hands Hand Cream

MaryKaySatinHandsHandCream-leahtackles.jpeg

This cream seemed pretty thin at first, especially compared to the thick gel that I am used to with my Neutrogena Hand Cream, but it absorbed quickly and didn’t leave my hands feeling greasy. Like I said, I wash my hands a lot, but I found that they still felt hydrated after multiple washings which was really nice because who seriously has the time to apply hand cream all the time? Not me! This is my new favorite hand cream!!

If you’re interested in ordering or have questions, my friend Catherine Ryan can help you! You can find her on her MaryKay Facebook page or visit her MaryKay page : )

There is still time to enter my GIANT DIAPER GIVEAWAY if you or someone you know could use 140 newborn diapers! Entering is easy!!

Don’t forget to subscribe! It just takes a minute and it helps me out! Have a *wonderful* weekend friends!

EASY DIY NURSING CAMI/TANK TOP!

February 2, 2015 & 2 Comments

Hi there! Happy Monday!

Thank you as always for being here! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend!

As most of you know, I have a newborn baby, Logan, and 3 kids 3 1/2 years and under! I am nursing Logan, and need to be able to do so easily without fussing with my clothes. I own a couple of nursing tank tops from Motherhood Maternity and Target, but they are typically $25 each, and then you still need a cardigan or top to wear overtop. I need to have a ton of easy to nurse in stuff because every outfit I wear for the first few months especially has to be nursing friendly, so I turned to Google for some help! I found some tank tops by Undercover Mama, but they looked pretty simple to re-create, so I decided to google further for a DIY option.  I then found the blog BabyBellyKelli and her tutuorial on how to repurpose an old cami into a nursing cami. Her blog is really cute, so be sure to check it out : )

NURSING CAMI/TANK TOP DIY:

What You’ll Need:

nursingcamiDIYtutorial-leahtackles.jpeg

A cami style tank top

*TIP: I used some that I had from Forever 21. I like the ones *without* a shelf bra, but that is entirely up to your personal preference. If you don’t have any cami tanks you want to use, I definitely suggest the ones from Forever 21 because they are anywhere from $1-4 dollars each.

Thread (it’s nice if it matches the cami, but it won’t be seen by anyone but you so whatever you’d prefer)

Scissors

A Needle

A Clip Down Nursing Bra (My favorites are the Motherhood Maternity Seamless Bras or Sports Bras)

Step 1:

nursingtanktopDIY-leahtackles.jpeg

Lay the cami down and cut the straps at the back of the cami as close to the tank top as possible while being careful not to cut the cami itself.

Step 2:

nursingtanktopDIY-leahtackles.jpeg

On the front of the cami cut each strap so that about 2 inches of strap is left.

Step 3:

nursingtanktoptutorial-leahtackles.jpeg

nursingtanktopDIYtutorial-leahtackles.jpeg

Using your needle and thread sew the 2 inch strap into a loop. I doubled up my thread and tied a triple not at the end. I started on the inside of the cami and pushed the needle out so that the string was on the inside. I did about 5-7 stiches per strap just to be sure it would be very secure! The last thing you want to worry about while nursing, especially in pubic, is that your nursing tank isn’t going to hold up! Do this to both sides of your cami. I made 5 camis in about 30 minutes, it was really fast once I got going! Please excuse my messy stitches on the gray cami, it bothers the perfectionist in me, but hey nobody else will see it!

Step 4:

nursingtankDIY-leahtackles.jpeg

Put on a nursing bra and then unclip it. Put on your cami. Put the loop that you made over the clasp of the nursing bra and then reclasp your nursing bra. Ta-da! How awesome is that?!

I wanted to be sure to test out one of these before sharing this tutorial with you, and I nursed in public without any issue! This is actually EASIER to me than my other nursing tanks, because I just have to unclip my bra instead of unclipping both a nursing tank and nursing bra. I am thrilled with these results and now I just need to find some great, affordable cardigans to go over them to get me through winter with a new baby who looooves to eat!! : )

If you found this DIY tutorial helpful *please* “pin” this post to your Pinterest or share it with one of the button links at the bottom of this post! It’s super easy, promsie!

Don’t forget to enter my DIAPER GIVEAWAY for your chance to win 140 diapers! Have a fabulous week!!

POPSUGAR MUST HAVE BOX JANUARY 2015!!

January 21, 2015 & 3 Comments

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

I finally got my hands on my PopSugar Must Have Box for January! My sweet friend (hey girl hey you know who you are! Don’t spit out your coffee if you’re at work!) got her box a whole week before me and we live in the same state. Hmm! So, the dates of delivery really seem to vary, but *usually* the PopSugar box usually arrives between the 10th-15th of every month for me…it ships from California via FedEx Smart Post, which means it goes out FedEx but arrives to my P.O Box.

If you don’t know, the box contains full size, premium quality items in all different categories: food, beauty, fashion, home, and sometimes an extra goodie too! Each box boasts a retail total of $100 or more. You can check out my review of the PopSugar Must Have Box for December 2014 here.

I didn’t get the sheet with information about what inspired each product, which was a bit of a bummer because I like jumping into the box and being surprised but then reading about each item. I looked up this months inspirations for the box and it said, “Rejuvenate, Fresh Start, Snow, Glimmer, Energize and Refresh”.

January 2014 Must Have Box:

popsugarmusthavebox-january2015-leahtackles.jpeg

Pom Pom Hat by Jack + Lucy

jackandlucy-popsugarmusthavebox-leahtackles.jpeg

I love this!! It’s a bit slouchy and more “hipster” than what I normally would wear, but it is super cute on!! I looove to wear gray and the pom pom is right up my ally! We got tech gloves Jack + Lucy in the January box for 2014 that I wear all the time and they’ve held up really well.

$32

12 oz Brew Glass Coffee Cup by KeepCup

keepcup-popsugarmusthave-leahtackles.jpeg

I love this! First of all, it fits under my Keurig which is great because a lot of travel mugs do not. The idea is that you can take these cups to your favorite coffee shop and they are the correct size for consistent proportions. I am curious about taking a cup like this to Starbucks…has anyone done this or tried to? But let’s be real, I usually am drinking/making coffee at home, and so I can definitely get a lot of use out of it.

$26

Skin Jewel Tattoos

skinjeweltattoos-leahtackles-popsugarmusthavebox.jpeg

I started seeing these last summer, and I’ll be honest the first time I saw them is when all of the girls on the total guilty pleasure of a show, Bachelor in Paradise, were rocking them. I think they’re fun, and would definitely wear a few on my wrists in the summer when I have a bit of a (fake) tan. Also, where were these when I was in college?! How freaking cute! I would have definitely worn these alllllll summa long at the pool.

$18

Protein Gronola in Peanut Butter N’ Dark Chocolate by Nature Valley

I am breastfeeding a newborn, so I am constantly needing simple snacks because I get so hungry so fast, and I think this will be a great option. I tried it and it tastes good, I bet it will be amazing with milk or almond milk!

$3.70

eQua Yoga Hand Towel by manduka

I am excited about this one! Once I get the all clear from my doctor to workout again after baby, I can’t wait to get back into shape, and this will be an awesome gym towel!! It says yoga but I can see myself using this after the treadmill or machines.

$16

Ice Water Eyes by ToGoSpa

icewatereyes-togospa-popsugarmusthave-leahtackles.jpeg

I love these! Did they know that I just gave birth?! Look for these in an upcoming Empties post where I let you know how they worked for me. I am hopeful ; )

$12.50

Ultra Repair Cream by First Aid Beauty

I keep seeing First Aid Beauty, and this product in particular, mentioned on other blogs I read and on YouTube videos that I watch but until now I haven’t had anything from the brand. I am thrilled to have this and can’t wait to try it out. And this is the big size, so it’s pretty nice that they gave us that and not the smaller $12 tube that is also avaliable.

$30

This box had a retail value of $138.20 and I think I will get use out of every single item in the box! I love PopSugar because it is a nice way to pamper yourself with things you probably wouldn’t buy yourself otherwise or may not know about otherwise. Do you subscribe to PopSugar? If you’d like more information you can find that right here! If you subscribe, did you enjoy your box? Please *COMMENT* to let me know!!! : )

Ipsy Glam Bag January 2015!!

January 19, 2015 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Monday!

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! Today I want to share my Ipsy bag for January 2015! If you don’t know, Ipsy Glam Bag is a $10/month subscription where you get 4-5 deluxe size samples or sometimes full size products in makeup, hair, nails, and skincare. Do you subscribe to Ipsy? I would love to hear about what you thought of your bag this month!!

January Ipsy Glam Bag:

ipsy-glambag2015-leahtackles.jpeg

Bag and Theme:

ipsyglambag-jan2015-leahtackles.jpeg

I love the bag! I think it’s pretty summery with the coral and bright blue, but I don’t mind looking at those bright colors on these gray January days!! The theme is “Fresh Start” which is of course super approriate for the start of 2015! I am ready for an amazing 2015 : )

Elizabeth Mott All Over Shadow Brush:

At first glance I was pretty hesitant about this brush and I will admit that I was judging a book  brush by its pink color, but it is a really nice brush!! This is made with synthetic hairs, is very densely packed, and is very soft! This will be a welcomed addition to my brush collection, and at a $9.99 price point it alone pays for this months bag.

Hikari Eye Liner in Storm:

ipsyglambag.jpeg

Right away I love that this doesn’t require a sharpener! I keep getting these gray metallic and gunmetal shades of eye liners, and I mostly wear black or dark brown, but I’ll give it a shot. I am not too impressed with the pigmentation…a really deep slate gray or gunmetal would be fun, but this I would probably only use as an accent to a look every once in a blue moon.

Pacifica Eye Shadow in Ethereal:

ipsyglambag-pacifica-leahtackles.jpeg

Even though this is a color that I could easily dupe with other colors in my makeup collection, I love that this is small because it will be great to throw into overnight bags for quick trips. A very pretty basic!

Velvet 59 by Paris Manning in Noisette:

ipsy-glam-bag-january-2015-leahtackles.jpeg

I wasn’t sure if I would like this, it looked pretty brown, but it’s actually a really pretty nude gloss!! It is a bit sticky, which I don’t mind on days when I want a gloss that will have a little more staying power. I am not a fan of the brush hair applicator, but this one didn’t bother me on the inital application. This smells like roses, but it isn’t too strong or off-putting at all. Hailey REALLY liked trying this on!

Eco-Beauty good day. day moisturizer:

I am excited to try this! It’s a pretty small sample, but at least it isn’t a tiny foil packet (how can you possibly get any idea with most of those?! ah!) and I will be able to try it out for a couple of days.

Once again, I am satisfied with my $10 spent! Do you subscribe to Ipsy? What did you think of your bag this month? If you’re interested in more information, you can find it here.

Thank you for being here! I truly appreciate each and every one of you!! Please share and subscribe if you learned something, found this useful, fun, or just want to be nice ; ) It’s easy I promise! Just enter your email in the subscription box on the right hand side of this screen and you’ll get an email to confirm the subscription! To share, use the links at the bottom of this post to share easily on social media! Have a wonderful week!!!

Products I’ve Used Up?! January Empties! Part 2

January 7, 2015 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Wednesday!

Today I will be continuing my post from Monday, Products I’ve Used Up?! January Empties! Part 1, and sharing if I would repurchase, and a mini review.

Empties Part 2:

januaryempties-productsiveusedup-leahtackles.jpeg

Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray:

I love the Urban Decay makeup setting sprays, I have already repurchased one but I picked up All-Nighter this time instead of De-Slick.

Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder in 10 Porcelain Ivory:

I love this powder! It is fantastic for setting my foundation, and adds a little extra coverage. I have already repurchased this.

Orajel Training Toothpaste Fluoride-Free in Berry Fun:

This is for the kiddos, and we have already repurchased it! We are getting Hailey ready for “big girl” toothpaste but continue to use this for Connor.

O•P•I Drip Dry Drops:

I ran out of these so long ago and seriously need to repurchase them! These drops help dry your nails SUPER fast when you’re rushing! I don’t use them every time I paint my nails, I do find they dull the shine just ever ever ever so slightly, but they’re amazing for when you don’t have forever to sit around waiting for your nails to dry!!

Pureology Serious Colour Care Antifade Complex Shampoo:

I love these shampoos! I have not repurchased, but have a different Pureology shampoo in my shower.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Cream for Stretch Marks:

I used this during this pregnancy and I do like it for my belly, breasts, and buns! But I did not repurchase it because I opted to use an oil by Burt’s Bees.

Colgate 360 Toothbrush:

These are my favorite toothbrushes! For 2015 I would like to get us some nice electric toothbrushes, but these are my standbys for sure! Any suggestions for a great electric toothbrush would be apprecaited! Let me know in the comments if you have a favorite!

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream:

I really like this hand cream in the winter months. I didn’t like it at first because I was using too much, but if you use just a pea sized dab works beautifully! I will repurchase!

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Hair Mask:

I only had a small sample of this, so I only got a couple of uses out of it, but I did enjoy it! I don’t plan to repurchase it because there are lots of other hair marks I have on my “to try” list, but this did seem nice.

Estée Lauder Advanced Time Zone Age Reversing Line/Wrinkle Eye Cream:

I got a sample the last time I went to purchase my Estée Lauder staples and I did enjoy this eye cream, but I have not repurchased it.

H2o+ Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment:

This was a small sample from my Ipsy Glam Bag but I got quite a few uses out of it. It is a gel consistency, it felt hydrating, and did not break me out. I would consider purchasing this in the future, I think it would feel great in the summer!

Patagonia Ayres Body Butter with Essential Oils Jasmine and Rosemary:

This was another small sample, but I did enjoy the rich formula and the scent was very relaxing.

Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Ash:

I adore this and it has already been repurchased this! This will help you make sure that your brows are on fleek (on point!) : )

Products I Used Up?! January 2015 Empties! Part 1

January 5, 2015 & 1 Comment

Hi there! Happy Monday!

I have been saving all of my empty beauty and tolietries in a basket in my closet for awhile now so that I could share an empties post with you! I love reading these types of post and watching these types of videos because 1) It’s helpful to hear if people would repurchase or not and a quick mini review, and 2) Let’s be honest, isn’t everyone just a *tiny* bit nosy?! It’s fun to see!

Let’s get into it!

January Empties:

Estée Lauder Advanced Time Zone Night Age Reversing Line/Wrinkle Cream:

Fabulous, thick, and luxurious night cream! This lasts because a small amount goes a long way. This has already been repurchased (by my momma for Christmas! Thank you!!) and will be for a long time! Love!

Estée Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Cream with Broad Spectrum SPF:

Same as the above! I love this and it is my favorite moisturizer. It is PERFECT for my combo/oily skin.

Gillette Venus Spa 3 Blade Shave Gel Bars:

I have been using Venus razor blades forever! I love the build in gel bar because it saves me so much time!

Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea Fine Fragrance Mist:

I don’t really like body sprays, I am definitely a perfume girl, but I like using a body spray in the evenings as part of my nighttime routine or sometimes when I’m just getting out of the shower or bath. I was glad to use this up and I won’t be repurchasing it, but not because there is anything bad about it.

Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Fine Fragrance Mist:

Same exact review as above!

Kleenex Hand Towels:

I use these to dry my face after cleansing because it is much more sanitary than using a towel. I love these and have already repurchased more.

Caress Evenly Gorgeous Burnt Brown Sugar & Karite Butter Exfoliating Body Wash:

I LOVE THIS! I will repurchase this over and over!! It smells amazing, exfoliates beautifully, and feels just as fabulous as a more expensive body wash. Awesome!

Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Nourishing Baby Oil:

I am SUPER pregnant (maybe when you read this I won’t be anymore?! maybe?!) and I like slathering this on my belly, breasts, butt…all the areas prone to dryness and strech marks. They make a Mama Bee Oil, which I also like, but this works just as well for me.

Lollia At Last Perfumed Shower Gel with White Petals & Rice Flower:

I got this in one of my PopSugar Must Have Boxes. I liked this, but I would not repurchase because I do not think that it was anything that special for the price point.

Dove Clinical Protection Clear Tone Deodorant Solid:

I love the clinical strength deodorants for the peace of mind, and will continue to purchase this.

Equate Sensitive Skin Feminine Wash in Soft Petal:

Using a special feminine wash or completely scent free soap is so important…gotta protect those lady bits! I have used both this brand, the Walmart brand, as well as the Summer’s Eve and like them equally.

Dr. Scholl’s For Her Rub Relief Gel Spots for Tartgeted Blister Protection:

I love these in my heels and flats! I have even put them in my husbands Sperry’s! These work so well!

Garnier Fructis Style Volumizing Anti-Humidity Hairspray:

I really like this hairspray for a light hold and daily use.

Philosophy Eye Hope Multitasking Eye Cream for Dark Circles, Puffiness & Lines:

I love this! I have not repurchased it yet, but I would in the future.

Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream:

I have been using this for a couple of years now as part of my morning routine. I really like this because I have VERY dark circles from a combination of genetics and mommyhood and this really helps.

Phew! That was a lot and that was only part 1! Thank you so much for reading : )
