I just spent the most magical week with my family in Montana for my brother-in-law’s wedding. I wore a gorgeous dress by Sabina Musayev that I can’t wait to share with you. I will also link the shoes I wore and my rehearsal dinner outfit.

This dress is a showstopper. It is beautiful and the perfect dress to pack. I had it in a small bag rolled into a ball and there was no need to steam it. It is slinky and drapes beautifully on the body. It has a hook and eye detail that allows you to wear it more conservatively if you prefer, which I did until later in the reception. It is a dress I hope to wear again and it makes me so happy to own it. It is a dress Hailey could wear someday. A keeper. For size reference, I wore it in a small.

Michael Kors Serena Strappy Sandal in Black

I had a hard time finding a low-block heel that I thought worked well but these were perfect! I wore them for about 9 hours and I got one tiny blister on one foot after hours of dancing.

Angel Sleeve Twist-Front Midi Dress

This dress was comfortable and so adorable. I love the bow in the back. It is a little low-cut, but fits nicely. I wore it in an XS Tall because sometimes midi hit in a place I don’t love (I am 5’7 so sometimes I wear regular and sometimes tall, it depends on how I want it to fit). It’s on clearance now.

Women’s Carissa Slide Sandals – A New Day

The best affordable little sandal. I love these and wear them all the day.

Quilted Black Clutch / Shoulder Bag

A great bag that I used as a clutch. It held everything easily.

Thankfully, the low rise doesn’t mean what it did circa 2003 (I am not ready to go back to the Christina Dirrty era, as iconic as it was) and I am a big fan of the mid-rise option.I have these jeans in cream and they’re so comfortable and go with everything dressed up or down. I size down in this style.

Best Drugstore Setting Spray? | NYX Plump Finish with Electrolytes

I’ve been a big fan of the NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray for years, but a few weeks ago was unable to find it at my local big box store, so I decided to try the NYX Plump Finish with Electrolytes. Today I want to share my thoughts.

I have combo/oily skin, but I mentioned last week that I have been enjoying a *bit* of glow and a dewy look. I don’t want a “dewy finish” spray, because a big reason I use the spray is to avoid my makeup melting off, but I love the youthful glow I’ve recently been embracing.

Do I think this keeps my makeup perfect for 24 hours? No. Do I think that this adds moisture for 24 hours? Also, no. That said, I love how my makeup looks after I apply this. It is an almost halo, natural beauty, I woke up like this look when sprayed lightly over makeup.

SPRINTS Running/Sports Hat Review + Customer Service Story

I bought myself a Sprints running hat recently to get myself excited about running again. I’ve kept my running up with our move, not the same mileage or endurance, but I’m still running 3-4 days each week, and I’m proud of that.

I went to Playmakers in Okemos (a can’t-miss store if you’re ever in the Lansing area) and picked out this Sprints hat because it’s my favorite color, Michigan State colors, AND I like that it’s turtles because I always say that I’m not fast but I keep going.

Why I Love It (Pros AND Cons)

It’s comfortable. It’s lightweight. It drys so fast. It washes up beautifully ( I hang it to dry). I don’t like that the velcro adjustable isn’t looped through, because it’s harder to adjust if needed mid-run but I believe this is in effort to make it as light as possible. I like it so well that I bought another one, the Sprints Rabbit Running Hat. I love that I have a tortoises and hare, plus we have Sunny the Bunny, our beloved Holland Lop, so it works : )

I started using a niacinamide a couple of months ago as a step in my morning skincare routine to help with blackheads and breakouts. I have combo skin, and while my skin is *decently* clear, I always have had large pores and blackheads on my nose.


The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum

What I do is cleanse my skin and tone my skin and then apply niacinamide serum before using my moisturizing and SPF. I love this niacinamide because it is affordable and effective.

I’m all about the no-makeup makeup, especially in the warmer months. I received a deluxe size sample of the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color Eye Crayon in Strapless as a birthday gift from Sephora and today I want to review it for you. It’s a cream shadow that dries to a powdery feel.

If you want a fast makeup routine for the summer, this is your answer for eye makeup. I love it because I can apply it without a brush to my lid and then I like to do a bit on my lower lash line and it’s firm enough that it isn’t messy but soft enough that it doesn’t tug the delicate skin around my eyes. I use this synthetic brush to lightly blend the edges so there aren’t any harsh lines. Some days I then take a shadow brush and put a bit of a shimmery eye shadow on top, focusing on the center of the lid, and some days I only wear the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick.

Leopard Apple Watch Band | Amazon Fashion Find Under $10

I wear my Apple watch every.single.day and I also am very active, running typically four days each week and working out six or seven days each week. I found the best Amazon Fashion Find for under $10: A leopard Apple watch band.

I had a plain black silicone rubber band, and a metal rose gold band, both of which I love, but I was getting tired of changing it multiple times a week, if not multiple times a day. I knew that the silicone rubber bands from Apple cost about $50, and I didn’t want to pay that much. So, naturally, I headed to Amazon. I found the best band, ever, and I’ve worn it every day for five months. I do have *slight* peeling on the edges, but it is only noticed when pointed out, and that is after daily, sweaty use.
