Milk Cooling Water Jelly Blush + Lip Stain

April 29, 2025 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Monday!

I recently decided to try out the Cooling Water Jelly Blush and Lip + Cheek Stain from Milk Makeup after hearing a lot of buzz around the brand’s jelly skincare line. I was especially intrigued by the unique texture and the idea of a dewy, natural-looking flush.

My first attempt? Let’s just say it was a little too much. I applied the blush with a sponge after my concealer and bronzer—bad idea. This stuff is highly pigmented, and the sponge just packed on way too much color. It was hard to blend and looked way too heavy for my taste.

So I switched up my routine. Now, I apply the blush first, before any concealer or bronzer, and it made all the difference. It gives this really soft, natural “flush from within” effect. Like you’re just healthy and glowing—not obviously made-up.

Instead of a sponge, I started applying it with a blending brush from e.l.f. and that’s been the sweet spot. The brush gives me more control and helps blend it out into a seamless finish.

If you’re into a fresh, dewy look and want something that really lasts, this blush is definitely worth trying. Just make sure to use a light hand!
