The Beakey Makeup Sponge Set of 6 from Amazon is incredible. They do absorb a tiny bit more makeup than more expensive sponges, so they do get dirty, but because they are so affordable I use each sponge for about a month before I use another one. They’re soft and expand to be a really large sponge that I use for foundation, concealer, cream bronzer, blush, and highlight.

I’ve recently been watching a lot of dermatology YouTube content and I recently watched a video by Doctorly reviewing the viral Bubble Skincare and when they said the Bubble Deep Dive AHA-PHA Exfoliating Mask was one of their top products not just in Bubble Skincare’s range but of all products they’d tried in a calendar year? I decided to give it a try.
What are AHAs? AHAs are a type of exfoliating acid known as alpha-hydroxy acids
What are BHAs? PHAs (poly-hydroxy acids) are chemical exfoliants. They belong to a group of acids with a larger molecular size than AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) and BHAs (beta-hydroxy acids). Therefore, they penetrate less deeply into the epidermis and are more suitable for sensitive skin or skin conditions.
The Bubble Skincare line is largely targeted to Gen Z, and I love that they’re offering an affordable skincare line for the younger set who is looking for a comprehensive skincare line. The AHA-PHA mask jumped out to me because it sounds similar to the Drunk Elephant Sukari Baby Facial but at a fraction of the price and the Doctorly video said they could easily see the same product in fancier packaging going for $100.
I use the Bubble Dive AHA-PHA Exfoliating mask once each week during my evening skincare routine. I apply it to clean skin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes before applying a moisturizer.
I love this product! The price is right, the packaging is cute and functional, and it’s a great drugstore price point but a quality skincare item.

I turn 37 tomorrow and 10 years ago tomorrow I started this blog. Because of this blog, I’ve had opportunities and then began YouTube, and then that led to becoming a social media manager, and now I’m a social media strategist and account manager. I still love this blog, I don’t get it much energy, but I am SO DARN PROUD I’ve never missed a week. I have practiced writing every. single. week for a decade. Little Leah would be proud. Will I keep writing? For now, yes. But I plan to allow myself the freedom to post when I feel called to, when I receive a PR product that I think is worth sharing, or when I have something that I’d share with my girlfriends.

I have had the same button-up from Everlane shirt in my wardrobe for years and what I love about it is that it’s soft and feels good with only a bra under it. I prefer to use steamer (don’t let the fact that it needs a steam deter you, it takes 2 minutes max) and I wear this dressed casually with jeans and shorts or dressed up under a a blazer with trousers.

Back in November, I did a review on neoLASH Lash Enhancing Serum and I today I felt like an update was in order.

Not only have my lashes never been longer, but they have new growth, and my lashes keep their natural curl (in the past I’ve had issues with lash serums making my lashes longer but making them go straight).
