Color of the Year Party Outfit | 2024 Peach Fuzz

Last week my sister had a spring fling party with the theme “Color of the Year”. The color of the year for 2024 is Peach Fuzz, so today I am going to share the outfits that my husband, our daughter, and I wore.

The star of the show was my Hill House Home nap dress. I can’t wait to wear it again. It’s a stunner! The tulle is heavy, which did pull the neckline down despite the use of fashion tape, so next time I might try a strapless bra. That said, it’s one of the most fun and captivating dresses I’ve ever worn. Lovely!

Our daughter was precious as can be in a romper that I found online at Walmart! She’s itty bitty, but tall, so it can be hard to find things that fit let alone for such an affordable price. The quality isn’t incredible, but it looked much more expensive and she is excited to wear it again for occasions when she can dress up a bit, I love how she rocked it with her (well, mine but she wears them more than I do…) Air Force Ones.

I try a lot of products that I receive in PR but most don’t stick around too long because I have my basics locked in (affordable and dependable) but the Peach & Lily Matcha Pudding Cream has become such a game-changer for me that I will be keeping it in my evening skincare moisturizer rotation.

I use this in the evening because I have combo skin. I think the price-point is fair and for me a small amount goes a long way. This has made my skin noticeably brighter, and less red.

My daughter and I both tried all of the products. My favorite and the standout of the three to me was the Bamboo Facial Scrub. Leah Tackles Turns 10! | What now?

Hi there! Happy Monday!

I turn 37 tomorrow and 10 years ago tomorrow I started this blog. Because of this blog, I’ve had opportunities and then began YouTube, and then that led to becoming a social media manager, and now I’m a social media strategist and account manager. I still love this blog, I don’t get it much energy, but I am SO DARN PROUD I’ve never missed a week. I have practiced writing every. single. week for a decade. Little Leah would be proud. Will I keep writing? For now, yes. But I plan to allow myself the freedom to post when I feel called to, when I receive a PR product that I think is worth sharing, or when I have something that I’d share with my girlfriends.

The Best White Button-Up | Everlane Shirt

I have had the same button-up from Everlane shirt in my wardrobe for years and what I love about it is that it’s soft and feels good with only a bra under it. I prefer to use steamer (don’t let the fact that it needs a steam deter you, it takes 2 minutes max) and I wear this dressed casually with jeans and shorts or dressed up under a a blazer with trousers.

Murder On The Dance Floor Party Theme Outfit

One of our dear friends had a Murder On The Dance Floor (song by Sophie Ellis Bextor) birthday party and this is my Murder On The Dance Floor-themed outfit.

Big Love Bodysuit by Free People This bodysuit is SO GOOD. The black is currently back-ordered (shipping in March) but is available in a blush pink (gorgeous!) and a white that would be perfect for a bachelorette party outfit. I purchased an XS because the Small was out-of-stock when I placed the order, and it did fit, but if I wanted to wear it on the shoulder or one shoulder up, I’d go for the size small. I am between sizes, it depends on the garment, and if that’s you I suggest ordering your bigger if available.

Vegan Leather High Rise Pant by Abercrombie & Fitch I borrowed these pants from a friend but have them in two other colors. I love them and now want a pair in the black. Comfortable, stylish, and on sale!

Black Velvet Heeled Boots* This pair is very similar to my boots, my boots are about five years old and they’re a go-to for me and a wardrobe staple.
