Hailey, our thirteen-year-old, is very interested interested in skincare. I knew she’d be the perfect person to help me review the Skwad Skincare for Teens. We both used four products for over a month and today I am going to share my thoughts.

I received the Starter Skincare Set with a cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and a shaving cream/mask combo product. I love the ease of this set, and I think it’s the perfect starting point for pre-teens and teens who are just learning about skincare.

SKWEEZ Gentle Exfoliating Face Wash 100ml

Containing a bio-friendly exfoliant, this face wash cleanser is gentle and effective while also visibly brightening and softening skin.  The skin barrier is protected for it to stay moisturized.

SKWIRT Hydrating and Exfoliating Facial and Body Toning Spray 100 ml

A hydrating, exfoliating toning spray that helps clarify and refresh the appearance of skin. This innovative sap can be used as a toner or on its own. Mom may use this on the quiet because our ingredient combination can also help reduce fine lines and even skin tone. This is my FAVORITE of the four products.

DENMAN HAIR BRUSHES | Mason Pearson Dupe?

When Denman Brushes reached out to me I was so excited. I am notorious for not replacing my brushes until they’re scraping my scalp, and beyond our Wet Brushes, we are lacking in the brush department. I would love a Mason Pearson someday, but that is in no way in my current budget, so I am excited to share the Denman brushes with you in case you’re also not willing to pay $275 for a hairbrush.

Denman Style and Shine D81M

I am so excited because the Denman Style and Shine D81M brush looks incredibly similar to the Mason Pearson famously expensive brush for less than 10% of the price. I have never touched or used the Mason Pearson, but I will tell you that the Denman Style and Shine brush made my hair shine in a way that none of my other brushes do. I was actually surprised when I walked past a mirror because I hadn’t used any different products and then remembered that I’d used this brush for the first time. It also uses real boar bristles, and I am a believer. A big win! This would be an incredible gift for your daughter, sister, mother, or friend! And it’s less than 6 months until Christmas, just saying, it’d fit in a stocking.

Denman Wet Detangler

I was excited for this! I love my Wet Brush Paddle Brush but I do not use that in the shower. This is really nice for my daughter and my longhaired son to use in the shower to make sure the conditioner is evenly distributed.

Bubble Deep Dive AHA-PHA Exfoliating Mask

I’ve recently been watching a lot of dermatology YouTube content and I recently watched a video by Doctorly reviewing the viral Bubble Skincare and when they said the Bubble Deep Dive AHA-PHA Exfoliating Mask was one of their top products not just in Bubble Skincare’s range but of all products they’d tried in a calendar year? I decided to give it a try.

What are AHAs? AHAs are a type of exfoliating acid known as alpha-hydroxy acids

What are BHAs? PHAs (poly-hydroxy acids) are chemical exfoliants. They belong to a group of acids with a larger molecular size than AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) and BHAs (beta-hydroxy acids). Therefore, they penetrate less deeply into the epidermis and are more suitable for sensitive skin or skin conditions.

The Bubble Skincare line is largely targeted to Gen Z, and I love that they’re offering an affordable skincare line for the younger set who is looking for a comprehensive skincare line. The AHA-PHA mask jumped out to me because it sounds similar to the Drunk Elephant Sukari Baby Facial but at a fraction of the price and the Doctorly video said they could easily see the same product in fancier packaging going for $100.

I use the Bubble Dive AHA-PHA Exfoliating mask once each week during my evening skincare routine. I apply it to clean skin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes before applying a moisturizer.

I love this product! The price is right, the packaging is cute and functional, and it’s a great drugstore price point but a quality skincare item.

I recently reviewed the neoLash which I have still been using nightly and really enjoy. I was sent a neoMASCARA and today I want to share my thoughts.

The mascara is very wet but I was amazed at how long my lashes looked after just one coat. My husband noticed! I style my curtain bangs the same whether I wear the rest of my hair down, curled, straight, or pulled back. I use my favorite drugstore heat protectant and then a straightener (*note: This is not my straighener, but I had a T3 for years and it was my favorite). I hold about a 1-inch section of my bang (I usually do each side of the part separately but you can do it all at once for a quick one-and-done) straight up and go straight up above my head with the flat iron and then flick my wrist up at the very end of the hair. That’s it. I spray with my favorite hairspray and let it set for a bit before I run my hands to fix them.
