Hi there! Happy Monday! And Happy Solar Eclipse!

My husband is a simple man, but when he put on his first pair of Southern Scholar dress socks he said “These are the best dress socks ever” and we promptly replaced his random dress socks with several pairs from Southern Scholar. They are comfortable and stay up without bunching, they’re soft and help wick sweat, and they’re cool. They also come with a style card that offers style suggestions, like what color pants or suit to pair with which socks, and my husband who again, is a simple guy, loves this added touch.

I love these socks, too and they’re very giftable. I think tossing these in a stocking, Easter basket, or as a groomsman gift would be appreciated by any man. They also have a Monthly Sock Subscription which I think is a ton of fun.

We attended afternoon tea as opposed to high tea, at afternoon tea they typically serve light small sandwiches and little desserts whereas at high tea they have heartier sandwiches.

I am very consistent with my skincare routine and spend a lot of time researching products. Lenoir Skincare contacted me and asked if I would like to try some of their products, and I immediately knew I was interested in their Vitamin C Serum and Hyuluronic Acid Serum. They also sent me their Vitamin C Cleanser which was a surprise and a treat because I typically don’t spend a lot on cleansers and stick to drugstore goodies.

Lenoir Vitamin C Cleanser

A foaming facial cleanser that has Vitamin C, Botanicals, and Raspberry Seed Oil. The product description states that this cleanser will not strip the skin of its natural balance but help visibly improve the appearance of skin clarity, texture, and tone, leaving your skin feeling extremely clean.

I love that this vitamin has three different forms of stable Vitamin C along with Hyaluronic Acid and Rosehip Seed Oil. I appreciate that it is fragrance and essential oil-free.

Leah Tackles Turns 10! | What now?

Hi there! Happy Monday!

I turn 37 tomorrow and 10 years ago tomorrow I started this blog. Because of this blog, I’ve had opportunities and then began YouTube, and then that led to becoming a social media manager, and now I’m a social media strategist and account manager. I still love this blog, I don’t get it much energy, but I am SO DARN PROUD I’ve never missed a week. I have practiced writing every. single. week for a decade. Little Leah would be proud. Will I keep writing? For now, yes. But I plan to allow myself the freedom to post when I feel called to, when I receive a PR product that I think is worth sharing, or when I have something that I’d share with my girlfriends.

The Best White Button-Up | Everlane Shirt

I have had the same button-up from Everlane shirt in my wardrobe for years and what I love about it is that it’s soft and feels good with only a bra under it. I prefer to use steamer (don’t let the fact that it needs a steam deter you, it takes 2 minutes max) and I wear this dressed casually with jeans and shorts or dressed up under a a blazer with trousers.

Murder On The Dance Floor Party Theme Outfit

One of our dear friends had a Murder On The Dance Floor (song by Sophie Ellis Bextor) birthday party and this is my Murder On The Dance Floor-themed outfit.

Big Love Bodysuit by Free People This bodysuit is SO GOOD. The black is currently back-ordered (shipping in March) but is available in a blush pink (gorgeous!) and a white that would be perfect for a bachelorette party outfit. I purchased an XS because the Small was out-of-stock when I placed the order, and it did fit, but if I wanted to wear it on the shoulder or one shoulder up, I’d go for the size small. I am between sizes, it depends on the garment, and if that’s you I suggest ordering your bigger if available.

Vegan Leather High Rise Pant by Abercrombie & Fitch I borrowed these pants from a friend but have them in two other colors. I love them and now want a pair in the black. Comfortable, stylish, and on sale!
