I hope that you are having a wonderful week so far! I am so excited to be sharing a product that I’ve been using for myself and my children for years and was happily reintroduced to when I was asked to do this post. As always, all opinions are my own and I only share products that I believe are quality items that you, my friends and readers, would like to see! I know a baby bath product company may seem like a stretch for a beauty blog, but hang in there because I will explain ; ) I was sent product for review purposes, and this is a sponsored post.

Baby Magic is celebrating 65 years of bringing families hypoallergenic, tear-free, and paragon-free Hair & Body Wash, Lotion, and other baby items. Baby Magic created a campaign called “For Every Lady In Waiting” in the 1950’s, which was incredibly forward thinking for it’s time, featuring real pregnant women in designer clothes. How I Use It

I put on lotion every day when I get out of the shower unless I am applying a sunless tanner. I don’t always use baby lotion, but I have used Baby Magic in the past because it’s gentle and doesn’t have a strong smell. I’ve been enjoying reaching for this again, and the price point is so affordable I definitely would purchase it again for myself to have on hand. Another great “skincare secret” is to use the shampoo as a shaving cream! It is affordable and makes my legs very soft. I love lathering my kids up in lotion after a bath QUICKLY, and Baby Magic does seem to soak in fast which I love! I asked my mom about her own Baby Magic memories, and she said she remembers the smell and using it as well : )

Labor Day 2016

Hi there! Happy Monday!

And if you’re in the United States or Canada, Happy Labor Day! I hope that most of you have the day off of work, and if you don’t I’m sorry! Both my husband, Stephan, and myself worked in retail management after graduating from college and we know the struggle!

Today I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures from this summer because I’m getting a little (a lot!) sad thinking about my daughter, Hailey, staring kindergarten & my son, Connor, starting pre-school because we had such a wonderful summer together! Thankfully Logan has to hang out at home with me for a couple more years ; )

I hope all of you have a wonderful Autumn! Technically I know not quite yet, but once school starts? Come on, it’s Bye bye summer!

I hope you had a great weekend! We had a fun weekend soaking up what is left of summer as a family : )

Hailey, our oldest, keeps us busy with soccer, cheerleading, and dance. She has hair just like mine was at her age; super baby fine but lots of it, and it isn’t easy to find a hairstyle that will hold it out of her face when she’s running on the field or twirling in dance class. I wanted to order Hailey a headband for her soccer games that matched her uniform, so I checked on Etsy.

On Etsy I found SassyGirlHeadbands which I liked instantly because Donna was fast with communication and had tons of adorable choices. SassyGirlHeadbands are awesome because the velvet side means they do not slip, even on baby fine hair! This is the first time I’ve been able to use a headband on Hailey without using clips with it. I can do a run or a cardio workout video without having to fix my headband and I even forget it is there! I love that it is adjustable! I also love that adding this to a ponytail or messy bun not only keeps the hair out of my face, but makes it a cute look instead of something that took zero thought or effort. HOW I SURPRISED MY HUSBAND FOR HIS 30TH BIRTHDAY!

Hi there! Happy Monday!

I hope that all of you had a wonderful weekend! I had one of those days yesterday where I didn’t realize it was Sunday until about 8p.m which is always a letdown ; ) But it was an incredible weekend! I haven’t done a lifestyle photo post in awhile, but I think that this event deserves one! My husband, Stephan, turns 30 on the 12th and he thought that him and I were celebrating on Saturday with a nice dinner out while my parents watched our little loves…all of this was true, but he didn’t know that 16 of our nearest and dearest were waiting at the restaurant to surprise him! He was SO shocked! His reaction was caught on film (thank you Nicole and Kayla!) and it is priceless! It would not have been possible without the input from our friends who thought of things I wouldn’t have, and helped me keep the surprise for months and months! And thank you to my mom, who helped me with all of the details and had it all set up perfectly. Stephan told me that it was the nicest thing that has ever happened to him. Thank you to everyone who took time out of your busy lives to be there for us and to celebrate this milestone birthday with my guy! I originally had guessed we would have about half of the people I invited show up, but actually nearly everyone did and it was awesome! We are very lucky people to know such incredible humans! DIY HONEY ALMOND LIP SCRUB! EASY & PERFECT FOR LIQUID LIPSTICKS FANS!

Hi there! Happy Monday!

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! We had an exciting weekend because we celebrated our 1 year Vlogiversary for our KwapisFamilyTackles Daily Vlog channel! Yes, we have every single day for an entire year (and a leap year!) on film! I will include a little montage video at the end of this post : ) Also, I can’t believe that it is already August! I have been having such a fun summer with my little loves and I’m not ready for it to end!!

Liquid lipstick is such a hot trend right now, and one that I adore because long wearing lipstick is ideal for the fast paced lives that we all are living these days!! However, liquid lipsticks can be *very* drying! Today I wanted to share my favorite DIY lip scrub that I love because it works AND the ingredients are things that most of you probably have on hand! It’s also very affordable and easy to throw together quickly. On Wednesday I will share with you How To Apply Liquid Lipstick for a beautiful, long wearing look : )

HONEY ALMOND LIP SCRUB:

Ingredients:

3-4 Teaspoons of granulated sugar

*This exfoliates!

1/2 Teaspoon of honey

*This hydrates!

1/2 Teaspoon of oil of your choice (I used olive oil)

*This moisturizes!

A few drops of an extract of your choice (I used almond extract)

*This gives flavor!

Instructions:

Simply mix the ingredients together and put in a small jar! I used a small jar that had been from a sample of skincare product, but old lip balm jars also work well! You could even use a small tupperware like the ones used for dressings or sauces. The consistency should be pretty granulated because that’s what will really scrub your lips, but it should still stick together, so you may need to add a bit more sugar depending on how much extract you put in.

How To Use It:

I like to rub this in a circular motions all over my lips in the evenings before applying lip balm. I love this lip scrub because it is edible, so you can wipe it off OR lick it off!

We had a lot of family fun on Saturday, Hailey had her first lemonade stand on Sunday, and we enjoyed decorating Hailey’s bike and the boys wagon today! Hailey placed second in her age group for her bike decorating, and the boys also placed second place for their wagon : )

MACKINAC ISLAND ANNIVERSARY TRIP 2016 IN PICTURES!

HOW I GET MONEY FOR SHOPPING ONLINE (REALLY!) USING EBATES!

I do a large part of my shopping online because I love shopping small and local when I can, but with three young kids and living in a small town that can be near impossible. I try to shop smart with sales and use coupons if I have a great one for something I actually need, but that’s always been pretty much the extent of money saving savvy for me. I kept hearing people talk about Ebates but I was skeptical because I thought I didn’t spend enough to actually get anything back, or thought that they would have some super involved sign up that would leave my head spinning. I made my account about a month ago, and have already gotten almost $20 plus a $10 giftcard! WHAT?! Below I will tell you how you can too! EVEN if you hate coupons : )

How To Sign Up for eBates:

I love eBates because signing up was EASY! I created an account in a couple of minutes without having to link a bank account or anything else that might leave some people uncomfortable. You can sign up for eBates here.

How It Works:

Before you make an online purchase you go to eBates.com and log-in to your eBates account. Once you are logged into your account you will search for the store that you would like to do a little shopping at. And then you click “shop now” and you will be redirected to the website of the store you want to make a purchase on. Right now Sephora, one of my personally favorites, has 8.0% CASH BACK on eBates! That is awesome! And the list of stores they have is incredibly long and diverse. You can get 8.0% cash back today at stores like Nike, Under Armour, American Eagle, and Sears. They are also beginning to do in-store cash back with a linked card, but I haven’t tried that *yet*.

How You Get Paid:

You can pick if you’d like to get a paper check in the mail to the address you provide on your account OR you can link your PayPal and be paid into your account directly. You also get a $10 giftcard to Walmart if you make a qualifying $25+ purchase within the first 90 days of joining. You can also share your link with friends and earn money if they sign up using your link. The biggest thing is to REMEMBER to go to Ebates first before you shop! I bought the kids new shoes from Stride Rite and kicked myself later because I forgot to use Ebates!!
