I enjoy making everyday events special. When Rosy & Earnest reached out and offered to send me their new Gourmond collection fragrances, I jumped at the chance.

I light a candle when we eat pizza on the couch and play background music when I cook, and while I live a very simple life, fragrance is an area where I believe in indulging. I have always adored the idea of my children having memories of my signature scent, so I purposefully selected a fragrance when they were small that I wear almost daily. I keep the fragrance I wore when my husband and I were first dating in my rotation, as well as the scent I wore on our wedding. I have fragrances that I’ve created scent memories with fragrance on vacations and have taught my daughter, who is 13, to do the same.

Rosy & Earnest Pistachio Delight

This one is my personal favorite. It is SO GOOD. Delicious. Irresistible. Decedant. Pistachio chip notes meet creamy vanilla, rich musk, and intense wood.

The BEST Shorts – Lululemon Look For Less

As a mom, I also want comfortable clothing that looks put together. When I’m watching soccer games, going to the park, or spending time on the weekends outdoors in the warm weather, I like athleisure. I looked on Amazon and found this pair of highly-reviewed shorts.

LULULEMON SHORTS LOOK FOR LESS

These are very similar to the Lululemon running shorts, but a lot more affordable. I do have running shorts that I wear exclusively for running, but I wanted some casual shorts that were not part of my workout wardrobe. These shorts are perfect. Affordable, quick-drying, pockets that zip, and a flattering fit. I like to pair these with my Lululemon Swiftly shirt and my favorite New Balance 574s.

They’re soft and expand to be a really large sponge that I use for foundation, concealer, cream bronzer, blush, and highlight.

I’ve recently been watching a lot of dermatology YouTube content and I recently watched a video by Doctorly reviewing the viral Bubble Skincare and when they said the Bubble Deep Dive AHA-PHA Exfoliating Mask was one of their top products not just in Bubble Skincare’s range but of all products they’d tried in a calendar year? I decided to give it a try.

What are AHAs? AHAs are a type of exfoliating acid known as alpha-hydroxy acids

What are BHAs? PHAs (poly-hydroxy acids) are chemical exfoliants. They belong to a group of acids with a larger molecular size than AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) and BHAs (beta-hydroxy acids). Therefore, they penetrate less deeply into the epidermis and are more suitable for sensitive skin or skin conditions.

The Bubble Skincare line is largely targeted to Gen Z, and I love that they’re offering an affordable skincare line for the younger set who is looking for a comprehensive skincare line. The AHA-PHA mask jumped out to me because it sounds similar to the Drunk Elephant Sukari Baby Facial but at a fraction of the price and the Doctorly video said they could easily see the same product in fancier packaging going for $100.

I use the Bubble Dive AHA-PHA Exfoliating mask once each week during my evening skincare routine. I apply it to clean skin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes before applying a moisturizer.

I love this product! The price is right, the packaging is cute and functional, and it’s a great drugstore price point but a quality skincare item.

Color of the Year Party Outfit | 2024 Peach Fuzz

Last week my sister had a spring fling party with the theme “Color of the Year”. The color of the year for 2024 is Peach Fuzz, so today I am going to share the outfits that my husband, our daughter, and I wore.

The star of the show was my Hill House Home nap dress. I can’t wait to wear it again. It’s a stunner! The tulle is heavy, which did pull the neckline down despite the use of fashion tape, so next time I might try a strapless bra. That said, it’s one of the most fun and captivating dresses I’ve ever worn. Lovely!

Our daughter was precious as can be in a romper that I found online at Walmart! She’s itty bitty, but tall, so it can be hard to find things that fit let alone for such an affordable price. The quality isn’t incredible, but it looked much more expensive and she is excited to wear it again for occasions when she can dress up a bit, I love how she rocked it with her (well, mine but she wears them more than I do…) Air Force Ones.

I try a lot of products that I receive in PR but most don’t stick around too long because I have my basics locked in (affordable and dependable) but the Peach & Lily Matcha Pudding Cream has become such a game-changer for me that I will be keeping it in my evening skincare moisturizer rotation.

I use this in the evening because I have combo skin. I do get oily in my t-zone but I use tretinoin, and hyaluronic acids in my evening skincare so I do tend to need a good moisturizer to combat the dryness those can cause. I think the price-point is fair and for me a small amount goes a long way. This has made my skin noticeably brighter, and less red.

My husband is a simple man, but when he put on his first pair of Southern Scholar dress socks he said “These are the best dress socks ever” and we promptly replaced his random dress socks with several pairs from Southern Scholar. We received The Essentials by Luv Your Skin bundle which included Scrub Off Pure Bamboo Facial Scrub, Take Off Gentle Facial Wash, and Calm Down Soothing Face Moisturizer. My daughter and I both tried all of the products. My favorite and the standout of the three to me was the Bamboo Facial Scrub. I love the Essentials set for my daughter because they are made from natural ingredients and are gentle on her young, sensitive skin.

Scrub Off Pure Bamboo Facial Scrub

This feels so good, and gentle but you get that nice invigorating clean feeling.

Bamboo Powder, Cocoa Butter, and Plantolin® gently scrub away dry, dead skin cells, restoring an even skin tone for naturally softer, clearer, and glowing skin.

Take Off Gentle Facial Wash

This is great because it gently removes makeup. My daughter uses this after her micellar water.
