MICKEY MOUSE FACE MASKS | JUST CUTE PACKAGING?

December 31, 2018 & Leave a Comment

Hi there! Happy Monday! And, Happy (almost) New Year!

I hope that you had a wonderful week celebrating the holiday season with your loved ones and are ready for a fresh new year! I know I am. Most years I get back into the routine of waking up early, working, and eating right because in previous years my husband has always worked this week, and he has been working this year but from home, so we have been thoroughly enjoying playing with our little loves, cuddling by the tree, and eating all the cheese. Legit guys, the meme below is me this week, anyone else?!

Joking aside, as we enter the new year a lot of us will have resolutions or goals, and one of mine this year is the idea of not feeling guilty or putting self-care or self-love on the backburner, and while I can’t splurge on big treats, I want to allow myself to not feel guilty about enjoying things for myself like an adorable bath bomb with fun packaging, even if it’s just a regular old bath bomb with cute packaging. If you’re familiar with The Five Love Languages, one of mine is gifts, and for me, it’s the idea that the details of how something is presented or wrapped can make all the difference. So, what does this have to do with Mickey Mouse Face Masks? Well, a lot. These Mickey Mouse Face Masks were sold at Target as part of the Mickey Mouse line last spring and summer, and they are just regular sheet masks, not better or worse than others I have shared here, but the packaging makes me feel SO HAPPY that to me, they’re better. Now, these masks were limited edition, but I managed to find a few on Amazon in case you’re a big Disney fan like me.

In 2019 I want you to allow yourself to enjoy the simple things like cute packaging and details. Do you want to spoil yourself with a “high-end” latte or a themed beauty item? Go for it, in moderation, and treat yourself. Happy New Year! Please be sure to let me know what you want to see me share, review, and feature on this blog for 2019! xx
